The Wayne County Employees Retirement System has retained Marathon Asset Management to serve as a new investment manager, according to meeting materials from the June 24th board meeting.
Marathon Asset Management will fulfill a $20 million mandate to manage a CMBS Bonds Portfolio.
Investment consultant, Titan Wealth Advisors, recommended the selection.
As of September 30, 2023, the Retirement System had a value of $840.9 million and allocated 11.74% to fixed income.
