Ventura County ERA Commits $25M to Aviation Strategy

The Ventura County Employees’ Retirement Association has made a $25 million commitment to the PIMCO Aviation Income Partners II.

“In AIP II, PIMCO is co-investing with High Ridge Aviation (HRA) to capitalize on the secular need for financing in the aviation market”, according to meeting materials.

As of October 2023, the $7.5 billion pension fund has allocated 4.7% to real assets with a target allocation of 6%.
