Texas TRS Commits $50M to Private Equity

The Teacher Retirement System of Texas has disclosed a $50 million commitment to Silver Lake Strategic Investors VI.

The private equity fund is managed by Silver Lake based out of Menlo Park, California.

This investment closed on April 28, according to an email from the Retirement System.
