South Carolina Retirement Commits $105M to Private Equity

The South Carolina Retirement System has made two private equity commitments totaling up to $105 million. 

$75 million was committed to Industry Ventures Secondary X. Up to $30 million was committed to Falfurrias Growth Partners I.

As of March 31, 2023, the $39.5 billion Retirement System allocates 15% to private equity while they target 9% to the asset class.
