The San Diego City Employees’ Retirement System reviewed their infrastructure portfolio with consultant Aon during the March 7th Board meeting.
It was recommended that SDCERS prepare to issue a search for 1-2 core open-ended infrastructure managers.
A formal recommendation is anticipated for the second half of 2024.
As of November 30, 2023, the $10.5 billion pension fund allocates approximately 2.6% to infrastructure with a target of 4%. The infrastructure portfolio is currently managed by GCM Grosvenor and Steptone.
