Rhode Island Invests $42M to Private Equity

The Rhode Island State Pension approved a commitment of $42 million to Nautic Partners XI, according to materials from the June 26th Investment Commission meeting.

Investment consultant Cliffwater assisted with the recommendation.

This allocation represents an ongoing relationship for the system, having previously allocated to their Funds X, IX, VII and VIII, among others.

As of May 31, 2024, ERSRI allocated approximately 16.9% to private equity with a target of 12.5%.
