Prudential Financial announced that PGIM Head of International Businesses and Global Investment Andrew Sullivan has been appointed as its new CEO, effective March 31, 2025, succeeding current CEO Charles F. Lowrey.
Sullivan had overseen the firm’s international insurance segment and its $1.4T Prudential Global Investment Management business. Upon assuming his new position, current CEO Lowrey will step down but continue on as executive chairman for the board of directors for 18 months.
Former Morgan Stanley executive Jacques Chappuis will take over Sullivan’s role in leading PGIM. The Prudential board also appointed current Head of US Businesses Caroline Feeney as the new global head of insurance and retirement. This is a new position that will oversee the firm’s domestic and international insurance and retirement operations.
