Oregon Public Employees Commits $650M to Int’l Equities, PE Co-Invest

The Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund allocated a total of $650M across three funds in international equities and private equity, per recently released minutes from its December 4, 2024, board meeting. 

The state pension approved a commitment of $300M each to Lazard International Quality Growth Fund and MFS International Growth Equity, with another $50M to EQT Co-Invest Platform (No.7) SCSp. Per Dakota data, Lazard and EQT represent follow-on investments made by the pension, as it has also previously committed to past closed-end funds of both managers. 

As of the latest Dakota data, Oregon Public Employees manages approximately $97B in total pension assets.
