The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has approved the 2023 private equity investment plan which calls for between $220 million and $250 million in commitments for the year.
Comparatively, the 2022 investment plan called for between $110 million and $140 million. An $85 million “overhang” was referenced due to prior commitments that will not start calling capital until 2023.
Investment consultant, Wilshire, presented the proposed investment plan at the Pensions December 7 board meeting.
