Ohio Police & Fire Commit $125M to Alts

The Ohio Police and Fire Pension has approved two alternative investments totalling $125 million, according to materials from the August 30th meeting. 

In real estate, $75 million was allocated to Alterra IOS Venture III. 

In private credit, $50 million was allocated to Barings North America Private Loan Fund III. 

As of July 31st, the real estate portfolio is valued at $1.9 billion, 11% of the total portfolio. They target 12% to the asset class. The private credit portfolio is valued at $531 million (3.0% of total portfolio), with a target of 3.5%.
