NM SIC Commits $460M to Alts

The New Mexico State Investment Council has approved three commitments totalling $460 million to private credit, private equity, and venture capital, according to recent meeting minutes.

In private credit, $350 million was allocated to Oak Hill Advisors Direct Lending. The investment will be made to Oak Hill Advisors’ Senior Private Lending Fund (OLEND). Investment consultant, Meketa, recommended the investment. 

In private equity, $100 million was allocated to Kinder Hook VIII. Private Equity Consultant, Mercer, recommended the investment. 

$10 million was allocated to Next Frontier Venture Fund IV, L.P. Private Equity Consultant, Mercer, recommended the investment.
