Maine PERS Commits $150M to Private Equity, Private Credit

At the May 9th board meeting, Maine Public Employees’ Retirement System approved two commitments to private equity and private credit totalling $150 million. 

In private equity, a $50 million allocation was allocated to Thoma Bravo Discover Fund V.

In private credit, a $100 million allocation was made to King Street Capital.

Both investments establish new relationships with the PERS. 

As of March 30, the retirement system had a market value of $19.4 billion in assets under management.
