LPL Recruits $280M SoCal Advisor from D.A. Davidson

LPL Financial announced that veteran financial advisor John Somerville has joined Linsco, the firm’s employee advisor channel, forming Somerville Wealth Management.

Somerville joins LPL from D.A. Davidson where he reportedly managed $280M in client assets. He brings four decades of industry experience after working for firms such as Crowell Weedon and Morgan Stanley. 

Somerville is the second advisor in recent weeks to make the move from D.A. Davison to Linsco. On December 17, Dakota reported that Jeffrey Grange joined Linsco and established Grange Wealth Management. Both Grange and Somerville operate from Linsco’s Santa Barbara, CA, office.
