The Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana has approved two alternative investments totaling up to $250 million.
$200 million was committed to the private credit fund, Ares Senior Direct Lending Strategy Fund III.
Additionally, $50 million was allocated to the private equity fund, LS Power Equity Partners V.
The Board also voted to retain Mesirow for the U.S. Small Cap Value search. Other finalist candidates included Barrow Hanley, LSV, and Vaughan Nelson.
