Kern County ERA Commits $30M to Buyout Fund

Kern County Employees’ Retirement Association has made a $30 million commitment to a private equity fund, Accel-KKR Capital Partners VII.

The $5 billion pension fund’s private equity consultant, Cambridge Associates, assisted with the recommendation.

As of October 31, 2022, Kern County ERA had an actual and target allocation to private equity of 3.1% and 5% respectively.
