Kentucky Teachers Allocates $65M to Todd Asset Management

The investment committee of the Teachers’ Retirement System of Kentucky (TRS of Kentucky) approved a $65M commitment to Todd Asset Management International Intrinsic Value at its August 22 meeting, according to materials published September 16.

Managed by Todd Asset Management, the international equities fund strategy will be the first allocation made by the TRS of Kentucky, establishing a new investment relationship with Todd Asset Management. The investment will be funded from the pension’s health insurance trust. 

According to the pension’s most recent quarterly report, the retirement fund had a market value of $25.8B as of June 30.
