Kansas Public Employees’ Allocates $190M to Real Estate Funds

The Kansas Public Employees’ Retirement System has recently committed $190 million between two real estate funds.

According to meeting materials provided by the System, $125 was committed to LaSalle Property Fund, and $65 million was committed to EQT Exeter Industrial Value Fund VI.

In addition, meeting materials from the July 21 meeting discloses that real estate manager, Rockwood, was placed on the watch list due to news that Colliers will acquire a 65% interest in Rockwood.

As of June 30, 2022, the Retirement System has a current and target allocation of 12.41% and 12% for real estate.
