FUNDRAISING NEWS | October 14, 2024
UK-based sustainable fund manager Osmosis Investment Management has been selected by the Hertfordshire Pension Fund to advise on a £100M (~$131M) global equity mandate, according to various press reports.
The fund, on which Osmosis will advise and UBS Asset Management will serve as investment manager, is reportedly set to replicate the Osmosis Core Equity Fund, launched in May 2017. The mandate is part of the “challenging transition path” Hertfordshire adopted to ensure it becomes net zero compliant by 2050.
In partnering with Osmosis, the fund will target investment strategies that address climate risk and an efficient use of resources.
