Focus Financial Partners announced that partner firm Brownlie & Braden Advisors is merging into fellow partner firm Prairie Capital Management.
The Dallas-based Brownlie & Braden team, which specializes in HNW and UHNW client services, will integrate into the Kansas, MO-based Prairie Capital, expanding its footprint in the Dallas-Forth Worth area following the transaction which closed on November 11. As of October 30, Prairie oversees approximately $7B in total AUM, with an additional $2B in assets under advisement.
The two RIAs are the latest Focus partner firms to consolidate after The Colony Group acquired $6.1B sister firm GYL Financial Synergies, as reported by Dakota on November 4. Focus also executes a “hub strategy,” composed of four hubs: The Colony Group, Kovitz Investment, SCS Capital Management and, most recently, Gelfand, Rennert, & Feldman LLC.
