The Chicago Teachers' Pension Fund (CTPF) is advancing its private credit specialty finance manager search, with three finalists presenting at its October 29 board meeting.
The chosen finalists are 400 Capital Management, Atalaya Capital, and Crayhill Capital Management, according to newly published meeting materials. Callan is assisting CTPF with the search as the pension evaluates options to enhance its private credit allocation.
In a separate decision, the board approved a motion to terminate the core plus fixed income mandate managed by Western Asset Management. Assets from the mandate will be transferred to a passive core fixed income account managed by State Street.
Per Dakota data, CTPF oversees $12.4B in assets.
