Houston and Beaumont, TX, firm Q5 Wealth Management said it has recruited former Morgan Stanley financial advisor Scott Guptill, who managed $100M in client assets.
The move expands Ameriprise’s presence in Texas, with Guptill’s addition increasing the Q5 team’s advisor group to five, supported by six other team members, managing approximately $1.5B in client assets.
Guptill worked as vice president at Morgan Stanley for 24 years serving high-net-worth clients. Prior to that he was a financial analyst at Black & Decker. Q5 is supported by Logan Clipp, a field vice president with Ameriprise, and Tres Rouquette, regional vice president.
