Aegis Capital Draws $100M Florida Advisor from Ameriprise

Aegis Capital said it has recruited advisor Michael Sandberg from Ameriprise Financial Services, where he managed over $100M in client assets. 

Sandberg, who will serve as a managing director at Aegis operating out of the firm’s Boca Raton, FL, office, brings over 35 years of experience. For the past five years he had served as an advisor and managing director affiliated with Ameriprise and before that spent five years with Oppenheimer & Co.

New York-based Aegis has been active in Florida of late, just a week prior to the announcement of Sandberg’s addition saying it recruited an advisor from LPL to operate out of Davie, FL, as reported by Dakota on November 19.
