Ted Seides, CFA, is the founder of Capital Allocators LLC, a flywheel that includes the Capital Allocators podcast, Capital Allocators University, and Capital Allocators Summits. He launched the podcast in 2017, and the show crossed 10 million downloads in April of 2022. The show has been recognized as the top institutional investing podcast. In March 2021, Ted published his second book, Capital Allocators, How the World's Elite Money Managers Lead and Invest, that distills key lessons from the first 150 episodes of the podcast.
Alongside the podcast, Ted advises both managers and allocators to help them understand each other and make more money. His previous experience includes working under David Swensen at Yale's Investment Office, which we will cover at the end of our dialogue, investing directly at three of Yale's managers, founding and serving as co-CIO of Protégé Partners, which is an iconic seed fund of funds back in the day. Ted holds a BA cum laude from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Dakota Live connects investment sales teams with allocators, and creates the content your team needs to do informed outreach to allocators in your asset class.
