Tags: Private Credit, New Fund Launches
Following closely on the heels of BondBloxx, which became the first to market with a CLO-driven private credit ETF, Virtus Investment Partners announced the launch of its Virtus Seix AAA Private Credit CLO ETF, the firm’s second ETF managed by Seix Investment Advisors.
The new fund seeks to identify and invest in strong and undervalued AAA-rated private credit CLOs and brings together Virtus’ expertise in ETFs – it offers 20 actively managed index-based ETFs with $2.6B in AUM – with Seix’s experience in the CLO asset class, where it now manages 10 CLOs with approximately $3.4B in assets.
“We believe ETFs will become essential tools for investors seeking to access the burgeoning private credit market as it evolves,” William J. Smalley, Virtus executive managing director, said in a statement. “Innovative products like PCLO provide a solution for investors seeking yield complements to a traditional portfolio, emphasizing efficiency and transparency.”
