Texas County Commits $80M to Private Equity

Texas County & District Retirement System (TCDRS) has committed $70 million to Spectrum Equity X-A and $10 million to the Spectrum Equity Discretionary Overage Program III-A, according to a recent activity report on their website.

Spectrum Equity is a “growth equity fund focused on internet-enabled software and data services companies” according to their website.

As of March 31, 2022, the $44 billion Retirement System targets a $25% private equity allocation and currently
allocates approximately 26% to private equity.
