Stratos Acquires RBC FA Team

Stratos Wealth Advisors has expanded its team by acquiring a six-person group of financial advisors from RBC Wealth Management based in Reno, Nevada. This newly formed team will operate as Reno Tahoe Wealth Management and consist of Peter Bessette, Carla Bessette, Drew Bessette, Dan Roberts, Erich Brenner, and Sonni Schafer. 

They collectively manage approximately $500 million in assets, marking Stratos' entry into the Northern Nevada market. 

Peter Bessette brings over two decades of experience in financial services, having spent 23 years at RBC where he collaborated with Roberts and Brenner. Carla Bessette, who has been in the industry for thirty years, also moved from RBC to Stratos in 2000. Drew Bessette, the newest member, started his career in the industry in 2020 as a wealth planning associate. New call-to-action
