Seattle City ERS Allocates $20M to Real Estate

The Seattle City Employees’ Retirement System approved a commitment of $20 million to Brookfield Real Estate Secondaries Fund, according to Minutes from the June 27th board meeting. 

NEPC assisted with the recommendation. This commitment represents a continued relationship for the fund. 

As of March 31, 2024 SCERS was valued at approximately $4.1 billion, allocating approximately 10.6% to real estate with a target weight of 12%.
