Schroders Names CIO of Investment Solutions Business

Schroders announced the appointment of Philip Chandler as the new CIO for Schroders Investment Solutions (SIS), the firm’s actively-managed model portfolios and multi-asset funds with more than £6.3B (~$7.8B) in assets.

Chandler will maintain his position as head of UK multi-asset in addition to taking on the CIO role. He first joined Schroders in 2003, where he started as a fund manager for the fixed income team. He moved on to become co-manager of the global multi-asset portfolio in 2009.

Schroders said Chandler’s appointment as CIO is intended to foster closer collaboration between the UK multi-asset team and the model portfolio service range to achieve greater synergy across all SIS offerings.
