Rockefeller Capital Management confirmed in a November 7 email to Dakota that high-net-worth advisor Joseph Najar has joined Rockefeller Global Family Office, following reports in mid-September that he was on gardening leave pending the move.
Najar was a managing director at Morgan Stanley for nine years, running the 15-person Carrier Group, which managed $3.6B in client assets. Prior to his move to Rockefeller, where he will also serve as a managing director, Najar had a four-year stint as director at Credit Suisse, served as vice president for Barclays Wealth, and as product specialist for US equities at Goldman Sachs.
Najar’s team at Rockefeller will operate as Partners Wealth Group and is composed of three members of his former Carrier Group team at Morgan Stanley: Senior Vice President Brian Malloy, along with Stephen Schwab and Kate Hudson, who serve as client associates and associate vice presidents in the new venture.
