Rhode Island Invests $30M to Private Equity

The Rhode Island State Pension approved a commitment of $30 million to Thoma Bravo Discover Fund V, according to materials from the May board meeting.

This commitment represents an existing relationship for ERSRI, having previously invested in their Funds XIV and XV and their Discover Funds III and IV. 

As of April 30, 2024, the $11 billion pension fund allocates approximately 16.9% to private equity with a target of 12.5%.
