Report: Three Midwest RIAs Merge to Form $2B Financial Integrators

Vision Financial Group, a Des Moines, IA-based firm, announced plans to merge with fellow Iowa RIA Business & Financial Strategies and Joplin, MO-based Clevenger Financial, according to a January 2 report from PlanAdviser.

The firms – now collectively known as Financial Integrators, managing a combined $2B in client assets – offer financial planning, asset management, and tax and estate planning services. Through the merger, the firms aim to expand their capabilities, including providing business succession plans and strategies.

The combined Financial Integrators team will be composed of 23 financial advisors and 77 subject matter experts and will leverage the brokerage services of Cambridge Investment Research. Vision Financial founding partner James Wessels told PlanAdviser that the combined scale, capital, and client base will strengthen the firm's position for future M&A activity in 2025 and beyond.
