Pennsylvania SERS Hires RVK, Makes $75M PE Commitment

The Pennsylvania State Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS) hired a new general investment consultant, made a new private equity commitment, and liquidated its inflation-linked bonds investment, according to a September 24 press release.

The PSERS board said that, after wrapping up a comprehensive search process, it hired RVK as its new general investment consultant, replacing Callan. RVK will begin a five-year term starting at the close of February 2025.

The pension’s board also approved a $75M commitment to middle-market buyout fund LLR Equity Partners VII and agreed to liquidate its holdings in a global inflation-linked bonds portfolio managed by New Century Advisors, transitioning the assets to its cash account.
