Summit Trail Advisors has added Paul Hoskin, a 30-year industry veteran, to its team from BNP Paribas' Bank of the West, recently acquired by BMO Financial Group. Hoskin, based in Newport Beach, California, manages about $500 million in client assets and specializes in succession planning for business owners.
He is part of the former Key Client Group, which included 10 other members who joined Summit this year, collectively overseeing more than $3 billion. Summit Trail Advisors, now managing approximately $18 billion in client assets, is part of the Dynasty Financial Partners network of independent registered investment advisor firms.
Before joining BNP Paribas/Bank of the West, Hoskin worked as a private banker for ultra-high-net-worth clients at Citigroup’s private bank from 2013 to 2020 and held senior roles at U.S. Trust, Charles Schwab, and TD Ameritrade.
