Northern Trust Head of Americas Asset Owners Adds Servicing to Remit

Northern Trust announced that Melanie Pickett, head of asset owners for the Americas since 2022, has taken on additional responsibility as head of asset servicing for the region, effective January 1.

Pickett will continue to oversee product and service delivery to asset owner clients, including pensions, foundations, endowments, insurance companies, and corporations, while assuming responsibility for the business unit’s asset manager clients. She will also continue to report to Teresa Parker, president of asset servicing.

Pickett joined Northern Trust in 2017 to lead development of the new front office solutions business line. Before that, she was COO of Emory Investment Management and began her career with over a decade stint in Morgan Stanley’s global wealth management division.
