Municipal Fire & Police Retirement System of Iowa Commits $95M to Private Equity

The Municipal Fire & Police Retirement System of Iowa (MFPRSI) disclosed three commitments to private equity totaling $95 million, according to a report from the November 16th Board meeting. 

$45 million was allocated to Adams Street Cyclone, $20 million to Industry Ventures Fund VII, and $30 million to Siguler Guff Hawkeye Co-Invest.

As of September 30, 2023, the $3.1 billion pension fund allocates approximately 26.8% of their holdings to private equity with a target allocation of 18%.
