Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund Commits  $554M to Private Credit

The Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) Board of Trustees approved 8 commitments to private credit, totalling $554 million. 

The private credit commitments were part of the Direct Lending, Opportunistic, and Distressed/Special Situations manager search.

Up to $125 million was committed to Jefferies Direct Lending SMA, up to $75 million was committed to MC Credit Partners IV, up to $50 million was committed to Ashgrove Specialty lending Fund II, up to $75 million was committed to Crayhill Principles Strategies Fund III, up to $50 million was committed to Pemberton Strategic Credit Fund III, up to $50 million was committed to MGG Structured Solutions Fund II, up to €50 million was committed to Alchemy Special Opportunities Fund V and lastly, up to $75 million was committed to Strategic Value Capital Solutions Fund II.

As of July 31, 2023, the total IMRF portfolio was valued at $51.8 billion.
