A former banking director at Citi is said to have joined HSBC as head of its international wealth hub in Singapore, FINews Asia reported January 7.
Jil Chin brings over 22 years of experience primarily from Citi, where she specialized in retail banking and most recently in Citigold’s private client wealth management. Chin will report to Ashmita Acharya, head of HSBC Singapore’s international wealth and premier banking unit.
Acharya said it aims for HSBC to be “Singapore’s leading international bank for both onshore and offshore clients,” with Chin expected to “lead the business in capturing these growth opportunities” in her new role.
