The Weld County Retirement Plan revised its asset allocation, increasing private equity from 2% to 10% and domestic fixed income from 22% to 28%, while cutting domestic and global equity, real estate, and private credit. Watertown Retirement System launched an $8M core plus real estate search, and Louisiana Parochial ERS allocated $200M to Partners Group to enhance fixed income stability. Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is closing its Hong Kong office as it scales back investments in China. Detroit GRS committed $20M to Boyd Watterson’s CLO fund, Anne Arundel County Retirement System allocated $20M to Audax Strategic Capital I, and Hialeah ERS made a $10M private equity commitment to Taurus Private Markets.

RIA & Wealth Channel News

RBC Wealth Management recruited a $300M UBS team in Las Vegas, led by Jordan Grangard. Osaic expanded its RIA network by adding $170M Indiana-based Ever Wealth through its Affiliated Advisors unit. The firm will provide back-office, technical, and regulatory support to Ever Wealth, which previously operated under LPL.

Marathon Asset Management closed its $2.7B opportunistic credit fund, securing a $100M commitment from Los Angeles Water & Power Employees' Retirement Plan. Pantheon Ventures completed a $1.1B GP-led secondaries fund, while Maverix Private Equity is preparing to raise $500M for its second growth equity fund. Weatherford Capital surpassed $1B in AUM after closing a $300M second fund, focusing on growth equity in regulated industries. Genesis Park raised $300M for its small business investment fund, supporting lower middle-market companies, and SemperVirens secured $177M across two funds, targeting early-stage and growth-stage investments in workforce transformation.

Hamilton Lane launched the first US private infrastructure fund available to retail investors via Republic, offering a minimum investment of $500. The fund will utilize blockchain-based tokenization to enhance accessibility and liquidity in private infrastructure investments.
