Montreal-based venture capital firm Diagram closed its ClimateTech Fund after capturing commitments of $80M, hitting its hard cap and exceeding its $60M target, per a press release published October 10.
The fund aims to deploy investments into companies specializing in technology-accelerated climate solutions, as well as early-stage, especially Quebecois, businesses. To date, the fund has launched two new ventures, beginning with software company ReliON.
Diagram said fund investors included private equity firm Sagard, Export Development Canada, and Investissement Québec.
