DC Retirement Commits €75M to Private Equity

Meeting minutes from the July 18th District of Columbia Retirement Board (DCRB) meeting have disclosed a commitment of €75 million (roughly $81.2 million) to private equity. 

The allocation was made to Chequers Partners XVIII, a private equity fund focused on buyout investments in the Western European middle market. 

The investment closed on July 1, 2024. 

As of July 17, 2024, DCRB has a market value of $11.9 billion.
