Colorado Fire & Police Commits $100M to Alts

The Colorado Fire and Police Pension Association approved four commitments to alternatives totaling $100 million, according to materials from the April 18th Board meeting.

In venture capital, $15 million was committed to TrueBridge Capital Partners VIII. And in real estate, €25 million ($26.7 million) was allocated to Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe. Consultant, Cambridge Associates, assisted with these recommendations. 

Within private equity, €5 million ($5.3 million) was invested in Adaxia CV I, a co-investment vehicle alongside the North Sky Clean Growth Fund IV. 

Additionally, $50 million was invested in Kodai Capital Management, a $14 billion global fundamental equity market neutral strategy. This is a new manager relationship for the fund. 

As of December 31, 2023, the FPPA was valued at approximately $6.95 billion.
