The California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS) has promoted two of its senior portfolio managers to hold positions as investment directors for its global-equity and fixed-income portfolios, according to a September 23 press release.
Rosie Lucchesini-Jack has been appointed director of the $41.2B fixed-income portfolio and David Murphy as director of the $144.9B global equity portfolio. Both have been with CalSTRS for over a decade, overseeing expansions of senior debt into private credit and internal management into international markets, respectively. They will now report to Geraldine Jimenez, the pension’s senior investment director of public markets.
As of August 31, CalSTRS investment portfolio is valued at approximately $346.5B.
