Nick Butz

Vice President, Institutional Sales

Nick Butz joined Dakota in 2019 and currently serves as Vice President of Institutional Sales on the Investment Sales team. In this role, he focuses on raising capital for both alternative and long-only investment partners across various capital pools. Prior to joining Dakota, Nick brings valuable experience from his time as a Fixed Income Investment Analyst at Vanguard.

Nick earned a double major in Finance and Management from Christopher Newport University and holds both his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.

Outside of the office, Nick enjoys spending time with family & friends and attempting to rewind the clock playing various sports.
