Jack Barber

Jack Barber joined the Dakota team in May 2024 working on our Investment Sales team. As one of our Vice Presidents of Institutional Sales, he will be working to raise money on behalf of our partners. Prior to Dakota, Jack was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sutter Post Advisors for 10 years where he successfully raised capital for alternative investment strategies and private companies. He brings over 30 years of experience working with Harvest Capital Strategies, Barbary Coast Capital Management, Dresdner RCM Global Investors and Goldman Sachs.

Jack is a graduate from Hampden-Sydney College where he earned his BA in Economics and played football, basketball and lacrosse. 

Outside of the office, Jack can be found enjoying golf, boating, and exercise.
