Dakota Marketplace is the leading intelligence platform on Institutional and RIA data. Our platform is used by hundreds of investment firms to enable their sales teams with the most up-to-date and accurate data on their prospects. We are a rapidly growing startup company that has grown to $5MM in ARR in less than 2 years. We are looking to add new members to the marketing team located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

We are looking for a Financial Content Writer with experience in the Financial Services industry.
TheFinancial Content Writer will be part of a team that writes, edits, curates and manages content for Dakota’s financial news website.

The site is updated weekly with 5-8 articles and long form reports, and content is a mix of original stories crafted from interviews by the editorial team with in-house subject matter experts and content repurposed from the data/research team.

Financial Content Writer Key Responsibilities
• Start the day by checking relevant news channels and media. What are the key stories that the firm’s clients are going to hear about in the news today, and what can we write about?
• Be up to date on what research the firm is producing and gathering (manipulating the data)
• Use data and research to create articles long form reports
• Write quarterly data reports
• Lead weekly editorial meeting with representatives from across the company, where article topics are decided.
• Prepare and write content
• Publish collateral in all relevant channels through the publication platform

Financial Content Writer Qualifications
• Understanding of financial markets and how different asset classes work
• 2+ years as a financial reporter, or as a writer or editor within financial services marketing
• Proficient in Hubspot
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and time management
